Für die Teilnahme an der Bewerbung zur Hotelimmobilie des Jahres erheben wir eine Schutzgebühr von 149 € (netto, zzgl. Umsatzsteuer). Der Betrag wird mit der finalen Übermittlung der Bewerbung fällig. Der Rechnungsbetrag wird separat in Rechnung gestellt. In der Gebühr enthalten ist die virtuelle Teilnahme für eine (1) Person an der 196+ hotelforum-Veranstaltung am 13. Oktober 2021 in München.
Eingereicht werden können pro Jahr maximal zwei Hotels pro einreichendem Unternehmen. Die Hotels müssen in Europa gelegen, sowie zwischen Januar 2020 und einschließlich Juli 2021 fertig gestellt und eröffnet worden sein. Die Auswahl der Gewinner erfolgt über drei Auswahlstufen:
1. Bewerbungsverfahren (Teilnahme in Deutsch oder Englisch)
2. Abstimmung und Nominierung durch die 196+ hotelforum-Jury (im September)
3. Preisverleihung (im Oktober)
Teilnehmen können alle mit der Projektierung, dem Bau und dem Betrieb des Hotels verbundenen Firmen. Der Bewerber muss jedoch alle notwendigen Genehmigungen der Firmen einholen, die an der Realisierung und dem Betrieb der Hotelimmobilie mitgewirkt haben und mitwirken. Die Bewerbung muss spätestens am 31. Juli 2021 bei 196+ hotelforum München vorliegen. Jedes Hotel kann nur einmal an der Ausschreibung teilnehmen. Die Teilnahme an zwei aufeinanderfolgenden Jahren ist nicht möglich.
Die Jury wählt aus den vollständig eingegangenen Bewerbungen bis zu zehn Nominierte und davon drei Finalisten aus. Das Jury-Treffen findet in der Regel Anfang September des laufenden Wettbewerbsjahres statt. Alle Nominierten werden umgehend über die Jury-Entscheidung informiert. Für die Vorstellung der Nominierten während der 196+ hotelforum-Veranstaltung werden möglicherweise weitere Unterlagen benötigt (z.B. weiteres Bildmaterial, Videos, etc.). Weitere Einzelheiten teilt der Veranstalter den Nominierten nach der Entscheidung der Jury mit.
Die Verleihung der „Hotelimmobilie des Jahres 2021“ findet im Rahmen der 196+ hotelforum-Veranstaltung am 13. Oktober 2021 statt. Erst während der Preisverleihung am Veranstaltungstag wird die Entscheidung über das Gewinnerhotel bekannt gegeben. Für jedes nominierte Hotel sollte ein offizieller Vertreter während der Veranstaltung verfügbar sein, um im Falle der Prämierung die Ehrung entgegennehmen zu können. Jedes nominierte Hotel, inklusive der drei Finalisten, erhält eine Auszeichnung und wird offiziell gewürdigt.
Füllen Sie das online Bewerbungsformular bitte vollständig aus. Die mit * gekennzeichneten Felder zum einreichenden Unternehmen sind zwingend auszufüllen, um sich registrieren zu können. Sie erhalten danach automatisch eine Bestätigung an Ihre E-Mail zugeschickt, die Sie zur weiteren Bearbeitung der Bewerbung bis zur finalen Einreichung berechtigt. Bewerbungsschluss ist der 31. Juli 2021.
We charge a nominal fee of 149 € (net, plus VAT) for participating in the competition for the Hotel Property Award. The amount is due with the final submission of the application. The amount will be invoiced separately. The fee includes virtual participation for one (1) person at the 196+ hotelforum event on 13 October 2021 in Munich.
Up to two hotels may be submitted per year by each company applying. The hotels must be located in Europe and have been constructed and opened between January 2020 and July 2021 inclusive. The winners will be selected in the following three stages:
1. Application process (in German or English)
2. Jury deliberation, decision and nomination by the 196+ hotelforum jury (in September)
3. The award ceremony (in October)
Any company involved in the planning, construction and operation of the hotel may take part. However, the applicant must obtain all necessary permissions from the companies involved in the realisation of the hotel project and the operation of the hotel, both past and present. The application needs to be submitted to 196+ hotelforum Munich by 31 July 2021 at the latest. Each hotel can only take part in the competition once, and no hotel can apply two years in a row.
The jury will select up to ten nominees and thereof three finalists from among the completed applications that have been submitted. The jury will normally meet at the beginning of September of the respective competition year. All nominated applicants will then be immediately informed of the jury’s decision. Additional documentation may be needed for the presentation of the nominees during the 196+ hotelforum event (e.g. additional photographs, videos, etc.). The organisers will communicate further details to the nominees once the jury has reached its decision.
The award ceremony of the Hotel Property Award 2021 will take place during the 196+ hotelforum event on 13 October 2021. This will be the first time the winning hotel is made known. An official representative of each hotel that has been shortlisted should attend the 196+ hotelforum event in order to accept the award should the hotel be selected. All nominated hotels including the three finalists will receive an award.

You will then automatically receive a confirmation e-mail entitling you to alter or complete the documentation that you have submitted up until the submission deadline.
Alle Hotels, die in Europa zwischen Januar 2020 und Juli 2021 fertig gestellt wurden, können an dem Wettbewerb teilnehmen. Jedes Hotel kann nur einmal an der Ausschreibung teilnehmen, die Teilnahme an zwei aufeinanderfolgenden Jahren ist nicht möglich. Sollte es sich um einen Umbau eines Bestandshotels handeln, müssen massive Änderungen und eine Neuausrichtung zu erkennen sein. Darüber hinaus muss das Hotel vor der Wiedereröffnung geschlossen gewesen sein. Hotels, die im laufenden Betrieb renoviert wurden, sind von der Teilnahme ausgeschlossen.
Jedes Unternehmen kann maximal zwei Hotels einreichen, sofern diese den Teilnahmebedingungen entsprechen.
Jedes teilnehmende Unternehmen muss für jedes Hotel, das teilnehmen soll, ein ausgefülltes Bewerbungsformular einreichen, damit der Veranstalter über die Zulassung zum Bewerbungsverfahren entscheiden kann. Falls das Hotel von mehreren Unternehmen geplant und realisiert wurde, muss die Firma, die die Unterlagen einreicht, die anderen Firmen darüber informieren und gegebenenfalls auch Genehmigungen einholen. Die Bewerbungsformulare müssen offiziell bis zum 31. Juli 2021 bei 196+ hotelforum München eingegangen sein.
Die Jury hat das Recht, unvollständige bzw. nicht den Angaben entsprechende Unterlagen nicht zum Wettbewerb zuzulassen.
Alle vollständigen und rechtzeitig eingegangenen Bewerbungsunterlagen werden zur Bewertung durch die Jury zugelassen. Die Jury hat die Aufgabe, bis zu zehn Hotels zu nominieren und davon drei Hotels als Finalisten zu benennen. Die Entscheidung der Jury wird auf verschiedenen Kriterien beruhen, vor allem aber auf

Die Unternehmen, deren Bewerbungen von der Jury ausgewählt wurden, werden schriftlich über ihre Nominierung informiert. Sie müssen gegebenenfalls weiteres Material, wie z.B. eine kurze Projektbeschreibung in Englisch und/oder weitere Fotos, Videos einreichen. Dieses Material kann im Rahmen der 196+ hotelforum-Veranstaltung in der Ausstellungsfläche und/oder auf der digitalen Event-Plattform gezeigt werden. Die drei Finalisten stehen für etwaige Filmaufnahmen zur Verfügung und ermöglichen dem 196+ hotelforum-Filmteam auf Nachfrage Zugang zum Hotel und den relevanten Räumlichkeiten.
Die Wettbewerbsergebnisse werden im Rahmen der Preisverleihung während der 196+ hotelforum-Veranstaltung am 13. Oktober 2021 verkündet. Für jedes nominierte Hotel sollte ein offizieller Vertreter während der Veranstaltung verfügbar sein, um im Falle der Prämierung die Ehrung entgegennehmen zu können. Alle nominierten Hotels erhalten eine Auszeichnung. Für die Vertreter der nominierten Hotels wird neben einer (1) virtuellen Freikarte (ist in der Teilnahmegebühr am Wettbewerb enthalten) zusätzlich auch ein (1) kostenfreies Ticket für die physische Veranstaltung (sofern gesetzlich möglich) zur Verfügung gestellt.
Es können keine Ansprüche geltend gemacht werden, die das Bewerbungssystem, die Juryauswahl der Nominierten, Finalisten und des Gewinners oder sonstige Aspekte im Verlauf des Wettbewerbs betreffen. Die Unternehmen akzeptieren diese Teilnahmebedingungen, indem sie sich für den Wettbewerb anmelden und für die Auszeichnung „Hotelimmobilie des Jahres 2021“ bewerben.
Der Veranstalter behält sich vor, das zur Verfügung gestellte Bild- und Videomaterial sowie die folgenden Hotelinformationen – Eigentümer, Betreiber, Projektentwickler, Architekt, Innenarchitekt, Kategorie, Bauzeit, Zimmeranzahl – im Rahmen der Vorstellung der Bewerber auf der Webseite 196plus.com, der digitalen Event-Plattform, in Pressemitteilungen, in Sozialen Medien, Fachzeitschriften, in den Konferenzunterlagen (Print/Digital) oder in einer Event-App sowie am 13. Oktober 2021 während der 196+ hotelforum-Veranstaltung zu veröffentlichen. Das einreichende Unternehmen hat die Verwendung der Bild- und Videorechte sowie die damit verbundene Kennzeichnung im Vorfeld der Einreichung zu klären und bestätigt mit der Teilnahme ordnungsgemäß vorliegende Nutzerrechte. 196+ hotelforum München behält sich vor, mögliche Regressansprüche aus unsachgemäßer Kennzeichnung von Bild- und Videomaterial aus den Bewerbungsunterlagen an das teilnehmende Unternehmen weiterzureichen. Bei der Übermittlung des Bildmaterials zwingend darauf achten, dass alle Bilder mit eindeutiger Kennzeichnung der Rechte im Dateinamen als JPG-Dateien in Druckqualität (300 dpi) hochgeladen werden.
Alle mit einem * markierten Felder müssen zwingend ausgefüllt werden. Dies gilt insbesondere für die Investitionskosten sowie die Betriebskennziffern. Bei nicht vollständiger Einreichung der abgefragten Informationen wird das Hotel automatisch von der Teilnahme am Wettbewerb ausgeschlossen. Hinweis: Diese Daten stehen ausschließlich 196+ hotelforum und der 196+ hotelforum-Jury für die Beurteilung der eingereichten Bewerbung zur Verfügung. Es erfolgt weder eine Veröffentlichung noch eine weitere Verwendung seitens 196+ hotelforum oder den 196+hotelforum-Jurymitgliedern.
All hotels completed and opened in Europe between January 2020 and July 2021 are eligible to take part in the competition. Each hotel can only take part in the competition once, and no hotel can apply two years in a row. If it should be a conversion of an existing hotel, massive changes and a reorientation must be recognisable. Furthermore, the hotel must have been closed before reopening. Hotels that have been renovated during ongoing operations are excluded from participation.
Each company may submit a maximum of two hotels, provided that these conform to the conditions for participation.
Each participating company must submit a fully-completed application form for every hotel that is to take part in order to allow the organisers to decide on admittance to the application process. Should the hotel have been planned and realised by more than one company, the company submitting the application form needs to inform the other companies accordingly and obtain from them any permissions that may be required. The application forms should be officially submitted to 196+ hotelforum Munich by 31. July 2021.
The jury reserves the right not to admit to the competition any documents that are incomplete or do not comply with the guidelines.
All completed application documents submitted to 196+ hotelforum Munich within the above timeframe will be admitted for evaluation by the jury. The jury has the task of selecting up to ten nominated hotels and thereof three hotels as finalists. The decision of the jury will be primarily influenced by a number of different, non-exclusive, criteria:
Items marked with * must be answered completely. Incomplete application documents may be excluded from the application process. The jury’s decision is final and not subject to appeal.
The companies whose hotels have been selected by the jury will be informed of their nomination in writing. They may need to submit additional material, such as a short description of the project in English and/or further photographs, videos of the project. This material may be showcased in the exhibition area and/or at the digital event platform as part of the 196+ hotelforum event. All three finalists will agree to be available for any film recordings and allow the 196+ hotelforum film crew access to the hotel and to any other relevant areas of the hotel property.
The results of the competition will be announced during the 196+ hotelforum event on 13 October 2021. At least one official representative of each nominated hotel should take part in the event in order to accept the award for the winner. All nominated hotels will receive an award. For the representatives of the nominated hotels, in addition to one (1) free virtual ticket (is included in the participation fee for the competition), one (1) free ticket for the physical event (if legally possible) will also be provided.
No claims may be asserted concerning the application system, the jury’s choice of nominees, finalists and the winner, or any other aspects concerning the competition. The companies accept the present conditions of participation by registering for the competition and the Hotel Property Award 2021.
The organisers are entitled to publish the photographs and videos provided and the following hotel-related information (namely: name of owner, operator, developer, architect, interior designer, hotel category, construction time, number of rooms) as part of the presentation of the applicants, on the website 196plus.com, the digital event platform, in press releases, in social media, in trade journals, conference documents (print/digital) or in an event app, as well as during the 196+ hotelforum conference on 13 October 2021. The submitting company must clarify the use of the copyrights prior to the application, as well as the concomitant labelling. Participation is deemed to constitute confirmation that the proper picture copyrights have been obtained. 196+ hotelforum Munich reserves the right to transfer any compensation claims resulting from inadequate labelling of image or video material from the application documents to the participating company. When submitting the image material, please make sure that all images are uploaded as JPG files in print quality (300 dpi) with the image rights properly marked.
All fields marked with * are mandatory and must be completed. This particularly applies to investment costs and performance data. The hotel will be automatically disqualified from the competition if the requested information is not submitted in full. N.B.: These data are only made available to 196+ hotelforum and the 196+ hotelforum jury for evaluating the submitted application. Neither 196+ hotelforum nor the 196+ hotelforum jury members will publish them or use them for any other purposes.
